Chicks in the Morning

We usually release the chickens in the morning to roam around the backyard until they're ready to roost again at dusk. Daniel took a video of them this morning coming out of the coop.

Baby Findley is on the way

Rachel is 11 weeks along in her pregnancy today. Rachel was 10 weeks and 1 day along when we went to the doctor last Friday; the baby has a heart beat of 169 beats per minute. The baby is due on March 27, 2010. Daniel is hoping for an April Fool's Day Baby and Rachel also thinks it will be an April delivery.

Time for Birthday Cake

To celebrate Rachel's birthday (although somewhat belated), Daniel bought an ice cream cake for Rachel and then proceeded to stage a coup of the minature ice cream cone cake decoration as Rachel unwittingly posed for a picture by Cricket.
