Sophia Sliding

Sophia loves to slide.  She even enjoys the big slides and has started to go down them by herself.  She went down a few times with her daddy and then started to do it on her own while following him down the slide.

Go-Karts

We rode go-karts on Saturday with Harry and Cricket.  The go-karts go up to 40 mph.  Lots of fun and Sophia enjoyed herself too.

Hawk Attack

We saw a hawk fly down in the front yard and attack a squirrel today. The hawk then carried it into the back yard. Below are some pictures of the hawk and it retreating after I got the camera out.

Sophia and the Turtle Sandbox

Sophia loves playing in the turtle sandbox.  The sandbox originally belonged to Sophia's aunts Amy and Julie.

Transportation Print from GE Plant in Erie, PA

Grandma Jane recently gave Daniel a print from his grandpa that hung in his office.  It's print showing various modes of transportation from hot air balloons to trains to bicycles and more.  The print represents a mural that was painted in the building that grandpa helped design.  The print now proudly hangs in Daniel's office where he works as a transportation engineer.
